Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating a Slashboard account or using our API, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Slashboard is an AI cost observability platform. We provide a hosted service that ingests LLM telemetry (token counts, latency, model identifiers, cost metadata) sent by your application and presents it in a dashboard. We are currently in free public beta.
3. Account Registration
You must provide a valid email address and verify it to activate your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must keep your ingest API keys confidential and rotate them if they are compromised.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) send personal data as top-level event fields (names, emails, health data, etc.) — use the metadata/tags fields with anonymised identifiers; (b) attempt to access another organisation's data; (c) deliberately overwhelm the ingest endpoint; (d) use the service to facilitate illegal activity.
5. Data & Privacy
Your data is described in our Privacy Policy. In summary: we store LLM request metadata (model, tokens, cost, latency, attribution tags). We do NOT store prompt or response bodies by default. You may opt in to body capture in Settings — only do so if your prompts are free of PII. We retain event logs for 30 days and aggregated rollups indefinitely (during beta). You can delete your data at any time from account settings.
6. Beta Service
The service is provided "as is" during the beta period. We may change features, retention windows, or rate limits with reasonable notice. We are not liable for data loss during the beta.
7. Intellectual Property
Slashboard retains all rights to the service and its underlying software. You retain ownership of your data. You grant us a limited licence to process your data to provide the service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slashboard's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (which, during the free beta, is $0). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination your data will be deleted within 30 days.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Slashboard is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration unless you opt out within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
